The print department’s existing workflows were manual processes—including taking end-user orders over the phone, tracking order statuses, and responding to questions and issues. The organization was interested in creating an intranet application for their print department to streamline document ordering and printing. The purpose of the application was to automate the associated business processes and improve overall department efficiency. The pain points associated with these manual processes included:
Departmental leaders are delighted with the application’s functionality, efficiency, and self-service automation available to all users. They are actively passing the application onto internal partners and building internal awareness of the corporate intranet site.
After collaborating with health center stakeholders to best define its needs and the scope of the project, Uvation developed an intranet application available to both the print department’s team as well as other medical staff members throughout all facilities. To be accessible via Intranet, the application would also need to be integrated into their legacy systems. The application achieved the following goals:

Departmental leaders are delighted with the application’s functionality, efficiency, and self-service automation available to all users. They are actively passing the application onto internal partners and building internal awareness of the corporate intranet site. The print department can now focus on its objectives more effectively with the efficiencies created through the use of this application.
